The prize presentation ceremony of the 4th "Power Smart" energy saving contest organized by Friends of the Earth (HK) has been held on 13th Dec 2009. Thanks 2,480 participating parties for taking action to conserve electricity, reducing a total of 20,172,248 kWh of electricity, and avoiding emissions of 14,121 tonnes of carbon dioxide. It has broken previous records within merely three months this summer, and over-achieved the prime target by 75%, effectively taking part in reducing greenhouse gases and combating climate change.
